The Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy

Admission and Tuition

Admission Requirements

We welcome your interest in becoming a homeopath and joining the growing number of practitioners who desire to offer an ecological, humanistic and holistic method of health care. It is important for us, as it should be for you, that the training at MICH is a "good fit" for your unique gifts and qualities.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Certificate and Diploma programs should possess a High School Leaving Certificate, preferably with passing marks in biology and chemistry.

Applicants who do not have the above requirements may apply for "special student" status. The courses required for a MICH diploma in homeopathy can be taken concurrently with, or even after, your homeopathic training. Please contact a program director for details, or submit a webform.

Deadline for Applications

Applications for the next 3-year program session should be submitted AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to allow for processing, advising and completion of any pre-requisites. If you are interested in the 2012 program, speak with a program director as soon as possible. Our advisors will be happy to answer your questions and guide you in your preparations. To download application forms, see: Apply to the MICH Program, or submit a webform to receive a package by mail.

Interviews

Homeopathic practice is based on humanistic and holistic models of medicine and requires conscious awareness and involvement in one’s own transformative journey. Willingness to personally evolve, and to follow the recommendations for additional training or counselling, if and when required, is one of the many attributes that the Admissions Committee will ascertain during the required interview for admission. This process will help the applicant decide if the programme is truly suited to his or her interests, as well as determine what additional training is required to meet professional (D.Hom) status.

Tuition

Fees for completion of the MICH Certificate in Homeopathy are outlined in the following documents, subject to change without notice.

Please note that if you wish to complete a MICH Diploma in Homeopathy (D.Hom), you must complete the MICH Certificate training as well as being accredited for academic/scientific courses that are not currently offered at MICH. Costs of courses not offered by MICH will vary by institution. For more information see: Certificate & Diploma Programs, or speak with a MICH program director.

Financial Assistance

Although classes are held on 12 weekends per academic year, MICH is considered a full-time program. All tuition fees are tax deductible. You may also be eligible for a personal loan from your financial institution.
