a holistic learning environment The holistic teaching and learning environment at MICH encourages students to use the intelligence of their mind, body and emotions as they participate in lectures, discussions, experiential exercises, case observations, case studies, and group activities, all within a combined academic/creative arts context. Learning is viewed as an experiential, organic process of building knowledge through inquiry, contemplation and discussion in the intimacy of your "home groups" in a 6:1 student to teacher ratio.

case-taking & clinical observation
Is an essential part of learning homeopathy. Live case-taking in front of the class, followed by discussion and questions, with follow-ups every month allows the opportunity for students to have first hand experience in the art. Filmed videos of cases quickly evolves into real case taking by students which is encouraged right from the onset of the training program. |

role playing of client-homeopath clinical case taking
The early stages of case-taking are best done in a controlled environment where students learn with each other before working with clients.
The whole process is learned in stages, and students have the opportunity to practice each stage in class.
In one of the many exercises of practice, a "student-client" will be assigned a remedy state, while a "student-homeopath" takes the case. |
