Homeopathy is Dynamic, Humanistic and Holistic

Dynamic in that

Homeopathy Is an energy-based, vibrational method often called "dynamic" by virtue of the unique method of preparation of remedies called dynamization. This method transfers the "essential property" of the substance to the water as an energetic imprint or signature which acts as a tuning fork or vibration when taken internally. Like a tuning fork to its chord, the remedy only resonates with a disease-state that is of the same frequency. Thus, the vital force of the patient is `tuned` by the dynamized remedy facilitating its proper functioning according to the unique characteristics of the patient.

Humanistic in that Homeopathy:

  • Explains and illustrates body-mind connections;

  • Considers the body as a living, vital, conscious, organism (not a machine or a chemical process);

  • Requires that the homeopath experiences a deep connection to the patient as a person;

  • Necessitates that the homeopath makes diagnoses based on both subjective and objective information;

  • Expects the homeopath to share information and responsibility with the patient;

  • Focuses on prevention and health enhancement;

  • Is driven with compassion;

  • Complements other modalities giving total freedom for the client to use multiple approaches.

Holistic in that homeopathy:

  • Uses modalities which enhance the natural healing abilities of the body;

  • Entails seeing each individual as unique (rather than as members of a disease category);

  • Searches for underlying causes rather than treat symptoms;

  • Expends effort in establishing what kind of patient has a disease and understanding the context within which the patient lives;

  • Views illness as a manifestation of a dysfunction of the whole person, not as an isolated event;

  • Involves facilitating an expansion of paradigms and  personal transformation in order for healing to occur;

  • Necessitates a non-judgmental view and unconditional acceptance by the homeopath in regards to his or her patient;

  • Considers illness, pain, and even the dying process as opportunities for greater wholeness and understanding. This requires understanding the many dimensions of health care, and the unfolding of life on the part of the homeopath.
